Some Thoughts
If you listened to our last podcast with Professor David Crider, which I am sure you did, because why wouldn’t you, you heard our discussion about countdowns and how everyone loves a good countdown. We did discuss what David’s favorite Thanksgiving foods were and we briefly discussed what we do not like. So, with that said and Thanksgiving being this past Thursday, I have added my favorite and least favorite foods from Thanksgiving and I will also provide my favorites from the next holiday for me, Hanukkah.
First, my 5 favorite foods from Thanksgiving
· Pecan Pie
· Stuffing
· Mashed potatoes

· Half sour pickles
My 5 least favorite foods from Thanksgiving

· Cranberry sauce
Now my 5 favorite foods from Hanukkah

Second, this past Saturday was The Game. Michigan and Ohio State played at the Big House. Michigan had won four straight games in the rivalry prior to Saturday. The game started off well for Michigan but they could only muster 6 points. That will not cut it in a rivalry game like this one when you can’t convert touchdowns. Michigan had the number one recruit in the country coming into this season and he has not lived up to the potential thus far. When you play in this game, you better step up and play your best game otherwise you will not be playing for long. Michigan lost the game 27-9, so it is on to next year’s game in the Horseshoe.
Third, the Rangers are in a lot of trouble. They have been playing up and down all season, barely winning games at home and barely scoring for that matter with a 2-8-1 record. They are playing very well on the road with an 11-4-1 record but they currently sit in second to last place in the Metropolitan Division. Now Adam Fox went down with an upper body injury and has been placed on the long term IR. He will be out for at least 24 days or 10 games. Who knows if he will be out longer than this. Without Fox, the offense will certainly stall even more. They do not have another puck moving defenseman on that level. Chris Drury has not given much confidence on being able ot bring anyone in or even straighten out the woes for the Rangers. The question is, will Dolan do anything about it or will he let Drury sit forever?
